Thanks to <a title=\"23 Sandy\" href=\"http:\/\/www.23sandy.com\" target=\"_blank\">Laura Russell of 23 Sandy Gallery<\/a> in Portland, Oregon.<br \/>\nWhen I created this book\u00a0I never imagined the escalation that five years could bring; I hoped we were moving toward a peaceful, respectful, and tolerant society, not more and more daily tragedies like <a title=\"Ferguson\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2014\/08\/13\/us\/ferguson-missouri-town-under-siege-after-police-shooting.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\">Ferguson<\/a>.
