Pocosin Arts Workshop Weekend

North Carolina is full of hidden gems. One of my favorites is the Pocosin Arts Folk School in Columbia. Located on the banks of the Scuppernong River, Pocosin is a wonderful place to teach a workshop and the students who attend are always hungry to learn. It was a pleasure to “feed” them this weekend while teaching my workshop, All Sewn Up.
I met a great cadre of resident artists and we had a ton of fun improvising after we learned that the Chinese food place forgot to give us cookies. Also on our agenda was a lunchtime visit to the Full Circle Crab Company, whose scallop kabobs and fried okra are out of this world.

If you’re on your way to the coast, be sure to check them out!
Here are a few photos taken by the facilitator extraordinnaire, Joshua Craig.
